(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A senior Iranian lawmaker has refuted Bahrain's meddling accusations against the Islamic Republic, stressing that the Bahraini government should instead observe the rights of Bahrainis.

“The Bahraini parliament has turned into a loudspeaker for the United States and Saudi Arabia,” said a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis), Parviz Sorouri, on Sunday.

He expressed regret that instead of defending the rights of the Bahraini people, members of Bahrain's parliament are reflecting US and Saudi demands, Majlis news agency (ICANA) reported.

“Members of the Bahraini parliament had better open up their eyes to realities and to see the occupiers in their country and recognize the true meddlers,” the Iranian lawmaker emphasized.
